Refunds

Applications sold through Google Play

My applications are sold through Google Play, which processes the payment and holds the transaction. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies, and the statutory rights below always apply.

Through Google Play

  • Shortly after purchase (Google’s stated window is two hours): you can return an app once from Google Play for a full refund; the app is uninstalled as part of the refund.
  • After that: you can request a refund through Google Play (your Play account → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history → Report a problem). Google usually decides within one day, up to four days.

Directly from me

At any time after purchase, whether or not you have asked Google first, and whenever Google directs you to the developer, write to support@dhstudio.dev and include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.) or the email address of the Google account you bought the app with, so that I can find the purchase. I review each request individually and issue refunds in accordance with this policy and applicable law. Approved refunds are returned by Google Play to the payment method used for the purchase.

Your statutory rights (EEA / UK)

Nothing here limits your legal rights. Digital content that is faulty, unavailable, or does not perform as described is refundable under consumer law, and Google administers these statutory guarantees. Because you agree at purchase that the app is made available to you immediately, the ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal is waived at the moment of purchase, except where the content is defective, unavailable, or does not perform as stated, which remains refundable.

Changes

If this refund policy changes, the new version will be published on this page. Refunds are handled under the version in force at the time of purchase.
