Hello.
I am Diyan Hristov, an independent Android developer from the village of Dobrich in south-eastern Bulgaria. DH Studio Technologies is the name under which I publish my work.
About me
I trained as an economist-informatician at the vocational school of economics in Yambol, graduating in 2013. The programme covered programming and algorithmic languages, computer architecture and operating systems, alongside economics and accounting. I kept programming, and today I build Android applications in Kotlin.
My first application is an offline reader. It turns text and PDF books into speech with open-source neural voices that run on the phone itself, with no internet connection, accounts or advertising. I am making it for people with reduced vision, for people with dyslexia, and for anyone who would rather listen to a book than read it, including in places without 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi coverage. It will be my first published application.
